Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

OptimizeFPS ("we", "us", "our") provides a remote Windows optimization service. We apply registry tweaks, service configurations, and system settings to improve gaming performance on your PC via a remote desktop session (AnyDesk).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to purchase and use our service. By purchasing, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Service Tiers

• Basic ($15): Debloat, privacy, telemetry removal, service disabling, visual effects reduction.
• Max ($49.99): Everything in Basic plus input optimization, kernel/scheduler tuning, GPU/DirectX optimization, network stack tuning, power/CPU settings, and driver configuration.

4. Payment

All payments are processed securely through PayPal. Prices are listed in USD. Payment is required before the optimization session begins.

5. Delivery

After payment, we will schedule a remote session via AnyDesk at a mutually convenient time. The optimization is performed live while you watch. Sessions typically take no longer than 10 minutes for a full Max optimization.

6. Restore Point & Reversibility

Before making any changes, we create a Windows System Restore point on your machine. All changes can be reversed by restoring to this point. We do not disable Windows Defender or Windows Security at any time during the process.

7. Refund Policy

Because this is a digital service that is fully delivered in a single session, refunds are handled as follows:

• Before optimization: If we have not yet performed the optimization session, a full refund (minus PayPal processing fees) will be issued upon request.
• After optimization (Max plan only): Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for Max plan customers only, subject to the requirements below. Basic plan purchases are non-refundable once the session is completed. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund — all post-optimization refunds are granted solely at the discretion of OptimizeFPS.

7a. Post-Optimization Refund Requirements

To be considered for a refund after your optimization session has been completed, you must provide a screen recording taken before the optimization that meets all of the following criteria:

• The recording must be at least 30 seconds long.
• It must show your desktop and Task Manager to verify system state.
• You must tab into the game you were optimized for (e.g. Rust, Valorant, Fortnite) and play normally.
• At least 20 seconds of in-game footage must be included, showing you looking around with an FPS counter visible on screen.
• The recording must clearly demonstrate your pre-optimization performance baseline.

We may also request a post-optimization recording to evaluate your system's current performance and determine whether a refund is warranted.

All refund decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of OptimizeFPS. We are under no obligation to issue a refund for completed optimization sessions. If approved, refunds will be issued minus PayPal processing fees.

7b. Upgrade Policy

If you purchased the Basic tier and wish to upgrade to Max, you will only pay the difference between the two tiers. Open a ticket in our Discord server to request an upgrade.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is." While we have tested all tweaks extensively and observed consistent performance improvements, we cannot guarantee specific FPS numbers or performance gains, as results vary depending on your hardware, software, and system state. We are not responsible for pre-existing hardware or software issues on your system.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OptimizeFPS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. A system restore point is always created before changes are applied, providing a recovery path.

10. What We Do Not Do

• We do not install anything malicious on your system. Any tools installed during the session (e.g. driver utilities) are legitimate, publicly available software.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from your computer.
• We do not disable your antivirus or firewall.
• We do not make changes outside the scope of the purchased tier.

11. User Responsibilities

• You must have a legitimate, activated copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
• You must install AnyDesk and provide the connection code when scheduled.
• You are responsible for backing up important files before the session (in addition to the restore point we create).
• You must not use our service for any purpose that violates applicable laws.

12. Intellectual Property

All optimization scripts, methods, and processes used by OptimizeFPS are our proprietary work. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell our optimization methods.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
